1800 French Provincial Harvest Farm Table

This table is 200 years old and over 8 feet long. It has recently arrived from France and it is beautiful. It needs a very special home with a big dining room or kitchen area; it would be wonderful in a new house with a big kitchen/great room area, a place where the kids can do their homework and your guests can gather. This table has lasted for 200 years, and does not and should not be pampered. It should be a part of your family life everyday.

This table is made of solid walnut and has a gorgeous patina. It is in excellent condition, save normal age lines on the top acquired during its 200 years of existence. It is 102 inches long. It is 30 inches wide and 28 1/2 inches tall. I have had a French cabinetmaker extend the legs so that the apron is 24 1/2 inches high, to allow the use of a regular sized chair, as the chairs people used during this time period were much lower. Authentic French farm tables are becoming more and more difficult to find, even for those with European sources. This is absolutely guaranteed as to age and authenticity.
