Arts and Crafts Monk Slag Glass Chandelier

It is a gorgeous, heavy chandelier. It is almost medieval in appearance, very strong and heavy. The body of the chandelier is made of hand-hammered copper with an iron chain. The decorative Monks have their mouths open with the tongue sticking out and they appear to be made of bronze. The slag glass is caramel and is a rough glass. There are numbers under the chandelier.

It is 14 inches long and 21 inches across and weighs approximately 45 pounds. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is a slight amount of rust on the glass holders, but no pitting. The monks are in perfect condition. It has been rewired, and is ready to hang. One recently sold at auction for $6000 - my price is less than 75% of that. This will look gorgeous in your Arts and Crafts home.
