Offered is this lovely signed Pittsburgh, obverse painted scenic lamp in excellent condition. An obverse painted lamp is painted on the outside of the shade, as opposed to a reverse painted lamp, which is painted on the inside of the shade. This shade depicts a peaceful mountain and lake scene with islands and birds. (The vertical marks on the shade are the birds - my camera is not picking them up.) The shade is free of chips, cracks or hairline fractures. Beautiful when lit, and equally beautiful when the sun comes in and catches the light on the shade. The lamp is 19 1/2” tall. It is 14” in diameter. The base is signed PLB & CO and the number 1826. The lamp is being rewired for safety reasons and will be ready to go into your home
