Early 1800s French Drop Leaf Table

REDUCED!!! Offered is this lovely early oak French drop leaf table, just arrived, fresh from France. This drop leaf has a wonderful patina and glow acquired over 200 years, since it was made in the early 1800s. This is a country table, Provincial, with strong, simple lines, and a wonderful dignity to it. The table measures 39 1/2 inches long, 16 1/2 inches closed with two leaves measuring 8 inches each, which makes it 32 1/2 inches when opened. It is 29 1/2 inches tall and the leaves are supported by wooden slide-out boards. This French table is in excellent condition, with wear on only one leg at the bottom, which I pictured. The table is solid and sturdy and would look great in the entrance of a country house or used in a living or dining room.
