French Modern Iron & Marbletop Console Table

Offered is this wonderful French Midcentury Modern iron and marble top console table, weathered by age. I date it to the mid 1900s, from France. The original marble top sits on a wrought iron base with a small wood shelf below. It is a wonderful, aged piece which would work with either a country or more formal setting. I would showcase it with two really over-the-top lamps in a hall or behind a sofa.

The table measures 40 inches long, 27 inches deep and is 29 inches tall. It has peeling paint, and the marble has some signs of its age, as it should. It has character and great form, and would transform a room.
