Massive & Long 1800s French Farm Table

Offered is this fabulous oak French Farm Table, found in the Lorraine region of France, dating from the mid-1800s. This table is solid, strong, and in beautiful condition. It has its original, glowing patina, earned from 160 years of wax and use. You just cannot imitate or fake the look of an authentic farm table, aged by years and memories.

This table is oak, strong and durable and looking great after all of these years. The table is 90 inches long, 28 1/2 inches wide, and 32 inches tall with a 26 inch high apron, which leaves plenty of room under the table for legs with any normal chair, even with a tall person at the table.

It is so rare to find an older table in this long length - most were much smaller, to accomodate smaller dining areas. This is a rare find! It is Louis XIII style, with solid legs and a central stretcher for added strength. All of the table is in excellent condition.
