17th Century MassiveFrench Farm Harvest Table

An incredible table - a 1600s French Harvest Farm Table which has lasted over 300 years, made of solid walnut, in beautiful condition! The top of the table is made of 3 walnut boards, very thick and heavy, with massive balluster legs. The 3 boards are doweled together on the end. The construction of this table is amazing - the 2 drawers on the end were made with huge handcarved dovetails, there are big screws on the top to hold the legs on, the legs are attached on the sides with wooden pegs, the 3 boards on the top are doweled together. (See the pictures please) The table has a patina only 300 years of use can impart - gorgeous! DIMENSIONS: The table measures 104 in. (almost 9 feet), 31 inches across and 31 inches high. There is a large drawer on either end of the table. CONDITION: The table is in beautiful condition, with very little wear, less than expected in a 300 year old table - please look at all of the pictures! The finish is in excellent condition.
